Is information technology possible to erase the current trainer information on the Pokewalker?

I recieved a Pokewalker from a friend a while ago and i noticed that her trainer was all the same in that location. I thought maybe replacing the battery would do information technology, but information technology was even so in that location. I want to replace the pokewalker with my trainer merely information technology always tells me that the pokewalker is used past someone else. Is there any possible way to erase the previous data?

Aye in that location is! Page 51 in the Pokewalker manual. From the main menu, choose the 3rd option, PokéWalker. On the card to synchronize the PokéWalker, printing the Down, X, and L buttons at the same fourth dimension. It will then warn that the save data will be erased and cannot be undone. Select the top option and press and concur the center button on the PokéWalker while highlighting the sync option. Within ane 2d, the device volition exist reset to its initial land.
